Bob mentioned the other day that it was time we had some new t-shirts with fresh and interesting designs. Our staff members had plenty of ideas, though upon consideration none were deemed fit to print on a shirt to be sold by a respectable BMW dealership. Therefore we are now asking you, our friends and customers, to send us your ideas. And we’re willing to pay!

In addition to the honor of having your design placed on a Bob’s t-shirt for all to see and admire, if selected we’ll also pay you $1 for each shirt printed (minimum 144 shirts for $144) for the first twelve months of issue, plus give you four shirts in whatever size you choose to pass out to your family, friends, riding buddies, etc. Of course we’d be willing to pay a bit more if you happen to be a talented graphic artist and are able to supply complete artwork!

Your concept doesn’t have to be aimed specifically at BMW riders, but should somehow pay homage to motorcycles and/or the sport of motorcycling. We’re not expecting a full-blown work of art, just some good ideas. Even old photographs can make great t-shirts. If you happen upon a good photo while leafing through your family album, we’d love to see it. Multiple submissions are not only accepted, they’re encouraged!

Fine print: Really fine!
• Accepted designs become the property of BUP, inc. T/A Bob’s BMW for continued use in textile imprinting.
• All decisions to use or not use remain with BUP, inc., and some designs may be held for future use, since we can’t print all approved designs at the same time.
• Creators of accepted designs will be notified by email, snail mail, phone or fax, depending on contact information provided.
• BUP, inc. reserves the right to further compensate any person for a submitted design based on long-term value, or the level of completeness of any submitted design.
• We will do everything possible to care for and return submissions of original photos if supplied with a SASE or photo mailer, since we’re sure you will want them back for your photo album.
• Submissions must be original designs of which the providing individual has ownership and transfer rights, so that we may use them without fear of copyright or trademark infringement.
