 If you are one of the many Oil-Head RT, RS,
and S riders who like to switch between the narrow CITY Cases and
standard size SYSTEM Cases, or if you just swap lids between

product. These convertible bag liners have a zippered gusset
around the center. With the gusset closed they're a perfect
fit for the City Cases. Then, with just one easy zip around

BMW Touring Cases on R1200C models including the '04 Montauk.
Cruiser owners who take longer trips will want to use the big Touring
Cases, pictured here with one of the bag liners. That extra 33 liters
of carrying capacity over what the standard Cruiser Bags hold is
sure a bonus, and our handy new bag liners make getting your
gear to and from the bike a lot more convenient. Access to
the main compartment of each liner is through a 2-way zipper that
curves around three sides of the bag for ease of packing. Inside
there's a zippered pocket to help keep contents organized. In
addition, each bag features an external, generously sized, zippered
pouch for packing smaller items separately.

BMW luggage standard on R1200CL and CLC. With these bags,
we've added the color Royal Blue to the color choices—a great
choice for 'Capri Blue' bikes, among others. The left side bag
has an inside zippered pocket and an external zippered pouch that
nicely fits in the lid of the saddlebag. The right side
bag is a bit shorter and designed so it tucks in underneath the
CD changer and still leaves enough airspace to allow the small cooling

Expandable
System Case Liners
for R1100/1150RT, R1100/1150RS, & R1100S |
 For
BMW System Cases with optional, extra-spacious Deep Lids. (See pg.10
in the Bob's Catalog to learn more about this great way to increase
your touring capacity.) These liners have the same features as standard
R-type liners above, but with an additional expansion gusset in the
center. When the gusset is zipped shut (as in the bag on the right),
use the liners with the standard size System Cases. But when you've
installed the Deep Lids—to get more room for a long tour, for
instance, simply unzip and open the gusset (the left bag in the picture).
Now, in seconds, these clever bags have gained about three inches
in girth for a perfect fit inside the huge cases. Swap back and forth
between standard or deep lids as you like, and Kathy's new Expandable
Liners are ready for the trip either way!

The Super Duffel measures 29" long x 10" high x 12"
deep, and is divided into 3 sections. The center section (22"
long) has a large 3-sided opening with a generous storm flap covering
the zipper. Compartments on the ends (each 3.5" long), each
have their own zippers, and one has a hidden security pocket. There
are six D-rings, four to use as bungee anchors and two more for
an optional shoulder strap. This duffel swallows a huge amount of
stuff and works well in almost any travel scenario, though our GS
riders seem to love it most!

| A Shoulder Strap is a handy thing
to have when you want to keep your hands free while carrying a duffle
or top case liner. Ours are made of strong black nylon webbing, adjustable
in length, with sturdy hooks on both ends. The 3 inch-wide strap also
comes with a shoulder pad, and is recommended for heavier bags.

| The Rack Sack |
The Rack Sack is an auxiliary
cargo bag specifically for the top case luggage racks on K1200LT
and R1200CL. It comes in two versions: one for the stock rack on
the K1200LT, and now, another just for the after-market ZTechnik
rack that's available for the R1200CL or the K1200LT. The Rack Sack
attaches quickly and securely to either type luggage rack. Intelligent
design, rugged materials, top quality workmanship— another
great accessory from Kathy’s Journey Designs and Bob’s
BMW!
The Rack Sack is expandable! While the standard
16 liter capacity is more than adequate for carrying typical
add-on items such as a couple of rain suits, extra gloves, and more;
you’ll be ready for those times when you need a little more
space simply by unzipping the expansion gusset. Now the Rack Sack
swells to hold an additional 9 liters!
Note: With your safety in mind, the Rack
Sack is purposefully designed to be conservative in size. Be
sure not to overload your motorcycle! Observe the weight limitations
as shown in your owners manual, and pack only soft and lightweight
items in the Rack Sack.
Mounting the bag on the rack takes just seconds,
yet it’s rock solid, even at high speeds. No flapping or wobbling.
Four attaching tabs, front and back, utilize the slots built into
the rack. Then a lateral strap loops through the rack and cinches
down to keep both the bag and its contents tight and secure. Furthermore,

as claimed by the manufacturer, but sewn-through seams and zippers
of the Rack Sack obviously are not. Though the bag is designed to
minimize leakage, small amounts of water may get through seams and
zippers during prolonged or heavy rain. To maximize weather protection
we recommend coating seams on the inside with a good quality tent-type
seam sealer, available where ever outdoor recreation equipment is
sold.

handy pouch attaches easily to any crossbar-type handlebar with
just 2 simple straps. It's made of waterproof, PVC-coated polyester
and the big main pocket has a storm flap over the zipper for extra
weather protection. Features include an extra zippered mesh pocket

Other special order colors are available, but only when ordered

with BMW logo patches sewn onto them. They were used by thousands
of brand-loyal BMW riders who enjoyed displaying the marque proudly.
However, as of last spring, in compliance with the an agreement
made with lawyers representing BMW of North America, we are forbidden
to sell any more Kathy's Journey Designs products showing BMW's
roundel logo which is a registered trademark.
Note that none of the Kathy's products pictured on this web site
have a BMW logo patch on them.
That is the only way the products are sold and that is how they
will look when you receive them. We emphasize this point only because
it has come to our attention that some customers still expect the
products to have the logo patch and are disappointed to discover
it's no longer there.
The pictures in the current edition of our print catalog, on the
other hand, do show Kathy's products with the patches on them. Please
understand that the catalog was created before we were informed
of the change in policy at BMW regarding use of their logo. The
catalog was, in fact, just hours from going to press when we were
first advised by BMW's attorneys about this matter. Fortunately,
we were able to obtain permission to go ahead and print and distribute
our catalog, but only after agreeing to attach the additional outer
cover on which the changes to our product marketing are spelled
