The new 2008 factory lowered R1200GS is on the
floor at Bob's! BMW recently announced this option and the first bikes
are just arriving. With a specially lowered seat and special factory
shock (as low as the lowest optional after-marketshock
available – and at about a TENTH of the cost!) you can
now ride confidently and comfortably at a seat height of just 31.1
inches. That’s almost two and a half inches lower than standard!
(Did you know that Low-Seat versions of the R1200RT and R1200R are
also available?)
See our Titan Silver model pictured here? This is the new re-designed
2008 GS with 105hp, and comes with alloy wheels,
Equipment Package 1 and the Safety Package. These will be hard

Military Motorcycle Purchase

serving in the US armed forces, BMW Motorrad USA is pleased to announce
a special motorcycle purchase program for all active members of the
US armed forces, to enable them to purchase the BMW motorcycle of
their choice for personal use.
Active members include active duty (including activated Reservists)
of the U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, National Guard and Coast
Guard, and those who have recently finished active service (within
6 months) with a current military identification card. A copy of Department
of Defense form 214 may be necessary for retired service members and
those who have recently been discharged from active service.

Public Agency Motorcycle Purchase Program Effective: April 1, 2009 - April 30, 2009
BMW Motorrad USA is pleased to announce a special Motorcycle Purchase Program for all Public Agency staff. The following allowances will apply toward the purchase of any new BMW Motorcycle.
Program Overview
To be eligible, you must be employed at a Public Agency at the time of motorcycle delivery. A Public Agency is regarded as a Federal, State or Local Police Agency / Authority, Sheriff's Department, FBI, DEA, NSA, US Border Patrol, Port Authority Police, US Coast Guard, Fire Department (includes both paid and active volunteers), etc. If you have questions regarding eligibility of an agency for this incentive, contact your local BMW Motorrad Dealer anytime during this period.
The following documents are required to redeem your allowance:
1. Proof of employment (copy of agency ID)
2. A completed Special Allowance Check Request Form (last page of this bulletin)
3. A copy of the Proof of Purchase/Bill of Sale
4. A copy of the motorcycle registration
