R 1150 GS

BMW R1150GSThis is the original adventure tourer! The mighty GS is unique, and no other model of this type can compare to its race-winning heritage. BMW practically owns the boasting rights to the grueling Paris to Dakar marathon. And though you may never need to cross the Sahara, you'll be glad to know this motorcycle has plenty of awesome real-world features. The big 1150cc Opposed Twin produces a linear torque spread that peaks at 71 ft-lbs (great for wheelies). Power flows from the 6-speed transmission to the road via the maintenance free drive shaft. The wheels are BMW patented cross spoke design which use tubeless tires. On the pavement, the agility and performance will surprise sport bike riders; and yet the two-up comfort will impress the touring crowd. But the beauty of it is: you don't have to stop where the pavement ends. On the R1150GS, the adventure of a lifetime is opened up before you!
